The Space Jockey

I drawn my idea of what a living Space Jockey may have looked like. I had a real trouble figuring out what was Jockey and what was the Derelict ship's chair. my vision of a Space Jockey, is more of a sympathetic gentel looking being like Dan O'Bannon intended when Giger was designing the Pilot of the Derelict. I also invisioned some bits of hair. don't ask why, I just figured it may have had hair.

the tube or trunk wich ever you like to call it, was made to look like part of the breathing aporatis looking thingamajig I figured it was part of the creature.

the eyes, I wanted a sence of soul and sympathy, but also a feel of mystery, so I made them large black eyes. while the head was as I tried anyways, built around the Jockey skull. and I desided to close the mouth. the neck came out long because he is standing errect, he must be tall, if he is in his chair his neck is at an angle. and must be long, or he get wipelash. lol.

I gave him biomechanical look to reflect his Ship, but I didn't want him to look like the Alien, so I gave him more flesh. the Backpack thing on his back, that is possibly for his chair, when he hooks up. but when he is standing, he needs something to hook up to. so i give him a Backpack.

I put AV hook ups on the back of his legs and elbows because I thought, if he hooks up to the chair, he needs to have as much control, for the ship.

and I put a Queen Chestburster in a test tube he is holding as a idea that, this is his new expirament, he is going to grow it. and transport the eggs somewhere.
