Mecha-Tyrannosaurus Rex

I have yet again redesigned my original Charactor. the Mecha-Rex. now under the alias of Mech-Tyrannosaurus Rex. but is still known as the Mecha-REX.

for this version I went back to my original vision of a Tyrannosaurus Cyborg armed to the teeth, I mean that literaly as well.

although this design is based on the original design I did, (don't try and look for it. I never posted it on DA. I can't know as it was torn up) it is a completely diffrent design. I added some new toys for Mecha-Rex, and made many changes to the weapons, as well as placement of weapons. what I did keep from the design is the Helmet around the head. although its also surgicaly attached to the animal-er-Cyborg's skull. I brought back the targeting lazer wich is located on the left side of Mecha-Rex's head. behind the eye.

the most notable changes are the new sleek and streamline armor as well as the newly designed weapons. its most famuse as well as its Signature weapon is the Plasma cannon located on the shoulder area of the back. it was radicaly redesigned as well as givin a more deadly look.

the missile battery and Lazer/mechanical left arm was brought back with some changes. the lazers now have an ammo Belt attached to the twin plasma gun berrals. the ammo drum has an ammo factory inside. were Nono bots build the ammunition for the Arm guns. the missile battery is now back above the left arm. complet with the Bio Tech Labs logo. (the creators of the Original Mecha-Rex was a Company called Bio Tech Labs. or BTL) wich is a Radiation logo with the ignitials BTL between the triangular figures.

the Search light was brought back but this time put under the missile battery. there is another like it on the same area on the right side.

the Plasma Cannon itself was heavely redesidned as I stated earlier. now givin a more realistic look. and also has lights on the side to show that it is preparing to fire. The Plasma Cannon has been also programed for "GLASSING". if you are familare with Halo 1-3 you'll know what It is.

when the Plasma Cannon was first designed, it was not to be issued to Mecha-Rex. infact, it was used for Human Millitary. when the cannon was built The Carno Mech Project wasn't even being funded nor was it even consived at the time. The Glassing Setting allows the Plasma Cannon to fire a High temprature Heat Ray. the Ray would melt a small Town in the matter of minutes. durring of wich the high tempratures would literaly turn the environment into Glass. devastating the ecosystem of that location. and any bodys of water around that area would be evaporated and would be choked with ash and debre.

however this feature is regarded as a suicide weapon as no millitary personal would be able to survive using the gun. but when the Carno Mech Project was nearing its final stages the weapons designers desided to place this weapon on the Mecha-Rex. as its highly durable armor would prevent any permanent damage. after a test in the desert it was desided the weapon to only be issued to future Carno Mech models.

now for the new Toys.

I added a new set of Lazer turrets at the end of the tail. why was this done? well looking at Mecha-REX's body I felt it needed something on the tail. so I looked at the tail and put twin lazer turrets. if you look closely you can even see the power cables going under the flesh of the tail. I also did this for balance reasons. with all that tech and weapons on the body, Mecha-REX would have needed more weight in the tail. the turrets actualy have alot of wieght to them.

There was an addition of two cannons with two twin Lazer guns on the sides located on a mechanical arm on the spine of the back.right over the Left Shoulder Missile Battery. this was inspired by The Modified M1 A2 Battle Tank From Transformers (named Devastator/Brawl). I added the lazer guns for fun.

now heres the "Wheres Waldo" part of the picture. but if you look hard enough I have added a row of five (5) pods for Mortor Grenade rounds. they may not seem that hard to find. but it may take a couple times to look and find them.

there is one last weapon. however it is not located on Mecha-REX. it is infact inside his mouth. there is Sonic Amplifier located inside his mouth. what this does is send an Ear Spliting High Pitched tone for over a 300 mile area. its mainly used for disorianting enemys. not much of a weapon.
