Godzilla '54

The Original 1954 Godzilla. born from a nuclear fire on Logos Island, Godzilla made his way to Tokyo Japan, sinking boats in his path, Godzilla finaly made is actual visual appearance on Oodo Island, the first but sertainly not the last time the monster would appear. Godzilla later attacked Tokyo bay, the short raid pushed the Millitary to use Depth Bombs on Godzilla, however, durring the cellabration, the passingers on a boat found that Godzilla was still infact alive. later the next day, the Millitary strung electrical towers around the city, hoping it will stop Godzilla in his tracks. when the Monster appeared later that Night, the plane proved a failer, Godzilla ripped through the power lines like string, the monster proseeded to destroy the city, a strike cord of Tanks fired at the monster at point blank range. unfortunantly, this only annoyed and angered Godzilla, the Tanks were destroyed and Godzilla went back to his rain of terror. after the attack Godzilla went back to the ocean when Jets were sent to fight the monster, however the Jets only annoyed an already angered Godzilla. and Godzilla retreated to the ocean. before the monster could attack the already devastated country even more, Dr. Serizawa (with convencing from his engaged Girlfriend and her friend) decides to use a weapon called the "Oxygen Destroyer" on Godzilla, daybreak the plan goes to work after finding Godzilla sleeping in the sea, the weapon was used on Godzilla, the plan worked, but with a cost. Godzilla was reduced to a skeleton, but it also killed Serizawa, commiting Suicide by killing himself along with Godzilla. The menace was gone, so was a great man.

Making the Monster:
The Original Godzilla was drawn because I never tried the original. also I felt it would be nice to work on something from the Original movie. this piece took 7 hours. because this is the Original Godzilla, there will not be a colored version of the image. I will leave it Black and White to preserve the look of the early 50s.

I also wanted to stay true to the Monster, so I gave him the "Man-In-A-Suit" look. hince the wrinkles in the skin and such. gives him the classic look I was wanting.
